Inline layouts support visibility
An inline premade pouch system presents each station along a clear path. That can help operators see pouch feeding, opening, filling, sealing and discharge as separate steps.

The pouch must be handled gently and consistently
Premade pouches arrive with shape, graphics, closures and sometimes fragile features already in place. The machine has to open and hold each pouch without damaging that finished package.
Zippers, spouts, gussets and shaped panels should be reviewed with real samples.
Filling technology changes by product
A snack pouch, powder pouch, detergent pouch and sauce pouch may all use the same general packaging style while needing different dosing hardware. The fill system should be chosen around the product first.
Gas flush, settling, dust control and drip control may also affect the final layout.
