Robotic solution 01

Delta Robot Systems

Delta robot cells pick product directly from a moving conveyor and place it exactly where the line needs it, into trays, cups, clamshells, cartons, pouch machine infeeds or onto a grouped and patterned discharge. Vision guides the robot to randomly positioned product, so upstream mechanical orientation can often be reduced or removed.

Delta Robot Systems

High-speed picking, grouping and pattern creation

What Delta robots handle

  • Food products, baked goods and confectionery
  • Pouches, bags and flow-wrapped products
  • Trays, cups, lids and rigid containers
  • Wrapped and unwrapped packaged goods

Picking and placing

  • Vision-guided random picking from moving conveyors
  • Fixed-position picking where product is already registered
  • Product orientation, rotation and alignment on placement
  • Grouping, collating and pattern creation for downstream packing
  • Multi-pick tooling where the product and rate allow

Why a Delta cell

  • High-speed handling for light, repetitive picks
  • Compact overhead footprint above the existing conveyor
  • Repeatable placement without manual handling
  • Hygienic, wash-down arrangements where the product requires it
  • Reconfigurable for additional SKUs and formats

Typical line integration

Product conveyors and accumulation
Flow wrappers and pouch machines
Cartoners and tray loaders
Downstream case packing and palletizing

Robotic solution 02

Robotic Pick & Place Systems

Where formats change often, products vary or manual handling is hard to sustain, a Robotic Pick & Place cell gives a flexible answer. Tooling, vision and the cell layout are designed around your product and the space you have, and the same cell can carry several SKUs with a recipe change instead of a rebuild.

Robotic Pick & Place Systems

Flexible loading, transfer, sorting and placement

Tasks the cell performs

  • Robotic loading and unloading of product
  • Product transfer between machines and conveyors
  • Sorting, orientation and accurate placement
  • Collating and nesting before secondary packaging

Where product is placed

  • Trays, clamshells and rigid containers
  • Cartons and shipping cases
  • Machine infeeds and denested container flights
  • Downstream conveyors and accumulation tables

Tooling and flexibility

  • Vision integration for random product position and orientation
  • Custom EOAT: vacuum cups, mechanical grippers and custom tools
  • Multi-SKU and recipe capability with fast changeover
  • Guarding and cell layout designed around operator access

Typical line integration

Upstream primary packaging discharge
Denesting, filling and sealing sections
Labeling, coding and verification devices
Downstream case packing, palletizing and line controls

Robotic solution 03

Integrated Robotic Case Erecting & Loading System

This is one coordinated robotic case packing cell, not two separate machines standing next to each other. Cases are erected and positioned inside the cell, and a Delta robot picks product straight from the production conveyor and loads it into the open case, with count, orientation and case pattern managed by the robot and vision system, and case handling synchronized to the incoming product flow.

Integrated Robotic Case Erecting & Loading System

One cell: case forming plus Delta robot case loading

Case forming, in the same cell

  • Automatic erecting and opening of cases and cartons
  • Case magazine and blank handling
  • Case positioning and hold at the loading station
  • Optional case closing and sealing downstream

Delta robot case loading

  • Product picked directly from the production conveyor
  • Loaded straight into the erected case with no intermediate handling
  • Product orientation and count managed by the robot and vision system
  • Case pattern built layer by layer to the required arrangement

One coordinated system

  • Case handling synchronized with the incoming product flow
  • Single controls architecture across erecting, picking and discharge
  • Compact footprint compared with separate stand-alone machines
  • Reduced manual case forming and manual case loading
  • Recipe changeover across case sizes and product patterns

Typical line integration

Upstream flow wrappers, pouch machines and filling and sealing lines
Case sealing, case coding and check weighing
Full case conveying to palletizing
Line controls, data capture and remote support

Robotic Palletizing

Robotic palletizing cells build finished cases, bags and trays into stable pallet patterns and release them to stretch wrapping and shipping. The cell is laid out around your footprint, pattern requirements and safety design, with robotic or conventional handling arrangements depending on the load and rate you need.

Robotic Palletizing

Automated pallet building with layer and mixed pattern control

What the cell palletizes

  • Cases, cartons and shipping boxes
  • Bags, pouches and flexible packs
  • Trays and rigid containers
  • Mixed loads and layer patterns

Pallet building

  • Layer, mixed and interlocked pattern building
  • Robotic and conventional handling arrangements
  • Pallet dispensing, slip sheets and pallet conveying
  • Stretch wrapper integration and discharge to shipping

Why a robotic palletizing cell

  • Consistent, repeatable pallet builds without manual lifting
  • Compact footprint designed around your floor space
  • Safety guarding and cell layout around operator access
  • Recipe changeover across case sizes and pallet patterns

Typical line integration

Upstream case packing and sealing
Case and pallet conveying
Stretch wrapping and shipping release
Line controls, data capture and remote support

Questions & Answers

What robotic packaging systems does Pure offer?

Pure integrates robotic pick and place, case erecting, robotic case packing and robotic palletizing as part of end-of-line packaging automation.

Can robotics be added to an existing packaging line?

Yes. Robotic cells can be integrated downstream of existing primary packaging equipment and connected to the line's controls.

How do I scope a robotic palletizing or case packing project?

Share the case sizes, pallet pattern, line speed and available floor space through the Request a Quote form, and Pure will outline a suitable cell.
