Canister Sealer

This linear conduction sealing machine trims foil laminate to match container dimensions, stretches it into place, and seals containers by conduction at high speed. It can be configured with as many as ten welding heads mounted in one sealing block, reaching throughputs of up to 200 units per minute.

Containers are moved into position by a dual servo-driven screw feeder that positions them precisely beneath the sealing zone before discharge. Beyond precision, its design guards against container slippage from wet conveyors, a common source of scrap in similar equipment.

Rugged and dependable, the sealer works with most PE-based laminate materials used across the industry.

How Conduction Sealing Machine works

Incoming containers travel along the conveyor into a dual servo-driven screw feeder that feeds, registers, and positions each canister precisely below its assigned conduction seal-and-cut station.

When a sensor confirms a container is in place, the sealing block lowers, presses, stretches and cuts the laminate, then welds it to the canister rim. Once sealing finishes, the screw feeder sends canisters onward to the selected capping machine.

Each sealing block is dedicated to one container size, +/- 5 mm.
Digital up/down adjustment of sealing block height.
Up to ten heating zones, each with its own temperature controller.
Cutting knives sized to the required film diameter and shape.
Fast, tool-free changeover of the full machine, including sealing block and screw feeder.
Automatic control of foil tension.
Throughput: up to 200ppm.
SealPro frame and base built from stainless steel SST304.
Slat chain conveyor in stainless steel SST304, 130mm wide, 5m long.
Dual servo-driven screw feeder for accurate, high-speed positioning of canisters entering their seal-and-cut station.
Capable of sealing up to ten canisters per cycle.
Controls platform: Siemens or Allen Bradley
Gears and motors: SEW Germany
Pneumatics: Festo Germany
